The OER Network is a project of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), led by the Virtual Campus for Public Health (VCPH) and the Virtual Health Library (VHL), which aims at creating a network of Open Educational Resources allowing the publication, search and retrieval of learning objects throughout the region of the Americas.
The learning object and educational resource repositories in the VCPH nodes are used to share and socialize throughout the network the existence of such objects with a search engine and publication of RSS feeds or channels.
Resources created for learning, education or training, for the generation of knowledge, skills and attitudes, depending on the needs of its users.
Elements of aid that, from an educational perspectives, allow the user to complement the activity with new methodologies, techniques or publications.
Studies, reports, investigations and evaluations that help complement the regions' human resources management, training and development.
