New online curse on Nursing Leadership
This self-learning online course, offered through the Virtual Campus of Public Health platform, aims to empower nurses in Latin America and the Caribbean by enhancing their understanding of nursing leadership and management principles that can be utilized in the practice of nursing. Upon completion of all course modules, participants receive a certificate of course completion. Read more

The Human Resources for Health Unit (HSS/HR) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the Edmundo Granda Ugalde Leaders in International Health Program 2018. Health Financing and Financial Protection in the Americas
This working paper shows an overview of the health system financing situation in the Region and the advances and challenges they still face under the lens of Universal Health objectives. The first section examines health financing in the Region, with special attention to financial protection. The third and final sections discuss the immediate challenges facing the countries in terms of the need to equitably and efficiently increase financing with financial protection. Read more
