Starts Training of Trainers Course for Physicians with a focus on Primary Health Carein its 2012!

Approaches, guidelines and practices in medical education have been renewed over time, living, often in contradictory ways, with approaches and practices. Have also been renovated and transformed the health needs of populations and changed thevery organization of health services. It is then necessary to rethink and reorientapproaches training practices of professionals serving the health needs and to the very transformation of health care.

The course begins in the last week of March and aims to support the processes of change in medical schools and health services involved in the development of PHCrenewed in its area of influence, from reflection on professional practice.

He looks forward to working with capacity building to promote the APS perspective in medical education, both at undergraduate and professional development, includingthe dimensions of institutional management and educational planning education.

Along the way, is expected to contribute for participants to achieve:

  • Linking the different approaches to the health-disease process and health care in medical education, analyzing them from the perspective of PHC renewed.
  • Recognize the important aspects in planning educational activities involving the university and health services from the perspective of PHC renewed.
  • Identify strategies for the development of interdisciplinary and team work in practice settings, integrating the diversity of cultures, needs, interests and values ​​involved.
