WHAT: Intensive Care Delivery for COVID-19: Experience from Hospital Settings. The webinar convened three experts from Asia, Europe and the Americas with extensive experience in intensive care services and clinical management of COVID-19.

    WHY IT IS IMPORTANT:

    The COVID-19 pandemic has put extraordinary pressure on health workers, frontline staff, hospital administrators and emergency managers, while creating unprecedented challenges for the reorganization and progressive expansion of health services in countries around the world. As the pandemic evolves and countries scale up their efforts, it is critical for decision-makers and the hospital management community to strengthen health services in order to ensure timely response capacity, including in the organization, staffing and infrastructure of Intensive Care Units (ICU).

    Objective:  To review the experiences and challenges in hospital settings and ICUs in the management of COVID-19 patients.
